Privacy Policy

Hershey's Price Hub ("Price Hub", "the App", "we", "us") is a field-operations tool used by authorized personnel to capture and review retail shelf, pricing, and merchandising data at Travel Retail outlets. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. The App is provided for internal business use by authorized employees and partners and is not intended for use by the general public.
Information We Collect
Account & Identity
When you sign in, we collect your name, work email address, role, and assigned market/cluster to authenticate you and attribute the records you submit.
Camera & Photos
The App uses your device camera (and, optionally, your photo library) to capture images of retail shelves, price tags, and promotional displays as part of a store visit. These photos are uploaded and analyzed to extract product, pricing, and compliance information.
Location
With your permission, the App records your device's location while a visit is in progress so that captured data can be tied to the specific store/outlet visited and verified against the location hierarchy (region, country, airport, terminal, store). Location is only collected while the App is in use.
Microphone / Voice Notes
If you choose to dictate a field observation, the App accesses your microphone to record a voice note, which may be transcribed and stored with the related visit.
Biometric Authentication
The App may use Face ID, fingerprint, or other on-device biometric authentication to let you sign in quickly. Biometric data is processed entirely on your device by the operating system and is never transmitted to us or stored on our servers.
Visit & Usage Data
We collect the data you submit as part of a store visit — product, brand, category, pricing, promotion, and compliance observations — along with AI-generated analysis of that data (e.g. OCR price extraction, product recognition, facing counts) and associated timestamps, device information, and app diagnostics.
How We Use Information
- To authenticate users and control access by role and market.
- To record, analyze, and report on retail shelf and pricing conditions.
- To generate AI-assisted insights (pricing gaps, facing counts, compliance issues).
- To sync visit data across devices, including queued offline submissions.
- To maintain audit trails for data quality, security, and compliance purposes.
- To diagnose and improve app performance and reliability.
Data Storage & Security
Data captured by the App is transmitted securely and stored on cloud infrastructure operated on our behalf. Visits captured offline are stored locally on your device until connectivity is available, then synced automatically. Access to stored data is restricted to authorized personnel based on role and market assignment.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data collected through the App is used internally for retail execution reporting and may be shared with authorized personnel within the business (e.g. regional managers) and with service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g. cloud hosting, AI analysis) under confidentiality obligations.
Data Retention
Visit records, photos, and related data are retained for as long as needed to support business reporting and audit requirements, or as required by applicable law.
Data Deletion Requests
Hershey's Price Hub accounts are enterprise accounts issued to authorized employees and partners. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email support@tecnots.com from your work email address with the subject "Data Deletion Request", including your name and the email address associated with your account. We will verify the request with your organization and process it within 30 days.
Upon a verified request, we delete your account credentials, profile information (name, email, role, market assignment), and any voice notes tied to your account. Visit records, photos, and AI-generated analysis you submitted are retained even after account deletion, as they document store conditions and are required for business reporting, audit trails, and compliance purposes independent of the submitting user's account.
Your Choices
You can control camera, photo library, location, and microphone permissions at any time through your device settings. Disabling a permission may limit certain App features (for example, disabling location will prevent visits from being geo-tagged).
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by authorized adult employees and partners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
